Jennifer Walker, CNM

Jennifer’s relationship with Covington Women’s Health Specialists started when she was a patient. After she gave birth to her daughter, Jennifer knew that she wanted to pursue a career in women’s healthcare.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Piedmont College. Afterward, she became an ER nurse at Piedmont Newton Hospital. Then, Jennifer transferred to the Women’s Services Department. Her true love was working with obstetric patients.

Inspired by Covington Women’s Health Specialists’ midwives and physicians, Jennifer wanted to be more involved in her patients’ lives.

She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Certified Nurse Midwifery in 2022.

Jennifer is passionate about women’s healthcare—especially pregnancy, birth, and babies. She loves educating, empowering and supporting women during their transition into motherhood. Jennifer also sees perimenopausal and postmenopausal patients.

Her services include annual exams, pap tests, STI testing, pre-conception counseling, and contraception education and procedures.

Jennifer and her husband, Scott, have two children, Presley and JT. She is an avid sports fan who lives for college football. Go Dawgs! Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
